The pageant to select the 2022 Miss Rodeo South Dakota and Teen Miss Rodeo South Dakota will be held 
Nov. 4-6, 2021 in conjunction with the Brookings PRCA Rodeo in Brookings, South Dakota.

Meet the 2022 Miss Rodeo South Dakota Contestants!

Carolyn Blatchford is the 21-year-old daughter of John and Victoria Blatchford. Raised in Brookings, South Dakota, she has always been a SDSU Jackrabbit and has a passion for representing rodeo and the agriculture industry! She is a senior studying Community and Public Health Science for pre-Occupational Therapy. She currently represents South Dakota State University and the SDSU rodeo team as the 2020-21 Jackrabbit Stampede Ambassador. She is sponsored by Six Mile Creek Acres horse boarding of Brookings, SD.

Morgan Erickson is the 23 year old daughter of Jon and Shelli Erickson of Atwater, Minnesota. Morgan currently resides in Hot Springs, South Dakota. She is a 2020 graduate of South Dakota State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Agriculture Science. She is also a graduate of Top Performance Equine Sports Massage Therapy School and is now a certified Equine Sports Message Therapist. Morgan is proud to be sponsored by the Miss Rodeo Aberdeen committee.

Emma Rogers is the daughter of Neal and Teann Rogers of Newell, SD. Emma has been raised around ranching and farming her whole life. After school she hopes to help ranchers manage their rangeland and to open a wool cleaning and processing business in western South Dakota. Emma would like to thank her sponsor Pete’s Clothing/Western Wear of Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

Adrianne Schaunaman is the 22-year-old daughter of Chad and Mysty Schaunaman of Aberdeen, South Dakota. She is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota-Crookston, attaining a Bachelor Degree of Equine Science and Equine Business Management. Adrianne enjoys sharing her love and passion for the western lifestyle through the promotion of rodeo and agriculture. She would like to thank the Black Hills Stock Show committee for all of their support.

Meet the 2022 Teen Miss Rodeo South Dakota Contestants!

Bailey Feistner is the daughter of Brian and Jennifer Feistner, and lives on a farm near Woonsocket, SD. Bailey is a junior at Woonsocket High School. She is active in volleyball, FFA, 4-H, student council and is her class president. Outside of school, Bailey enjoys competing on horseback in a variety of events, from barrels and poles to reining and jumping.   Bailey has a love of animals and spends most of her spare time working with her horses. Bailey’s long-term goal is to become a veterinarian focused on horse reproduction. Bailey is sponsored by Selland Trucking, Tailored 2 U, & Feistner Gravel and Excavation.

Gabrielle Rebelein is the 17-year-old daughter of Dennis and Tammy Rebelein of Brookings, South Dakota. A junior at Sioux Valley High School in Volga, Gabrielle is an active member of the National Honors Society, concert choir, and FFA. Gabrielle is excited to be a SDSU Jackrabbit this fall, as she is taking dual credit classes online. Gabrielle would like to thank her personal sponsors: Lazy 4t Cutting Horses and The Miss Rodeo Aberdeen Queen Committee.

Maddie Williams is the daughter of Colin and Meagan Williams of Brentford, South Dakota. Maddie will graduate in the spring from Northwestern High School in Mellette. Maddie has been a participant in many activities over the years including sports, FFA, 4-H, band, chorus, and various clubs and organizations. She has participated in 4-H and SDHSRA rodeos and club horse shows. Maddie will pursue an education in law and be a part of college rodeo after graduation. Maddie would like to wish the best of luck to all the contestants.

Alison Zacharias is the 16 year old daughter of Jeff and Brenda Zacharias of Hartford, South Dakota. She is a junior at West Central High School where she is involved in prom committee, cheerleading, and FFA. Through FFA, Alison competes in Agricultural Communications, and Vet Science. Alison’s other hobbies include training with her horses, singing at church, and giving riding lessons to younger kids. In the rodeo arena, she competes in barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, and team roping. Alison would like to thank her sponsor, Stockmen’s Motorsports, for their generous support. She wishes everyone good luck this weekend.
